Course Description: This foundational program is designed for aspiring and newly appointed college lecturers to equip them with essential pedagogical skills and knowledge for effective teaching in higher education. The program will cover key aspects of university teaching, including adult learning theories, curriculum design, classroom management, assessment strategies, communication skills, and professional ethics.

Course Objectives:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies, including active learning techniques, for diverse student populations.
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective lectures and presentations.
